IG Summer Gala 2025: Fun, Family, and Friendship

This June, we gathered once again for our much-loved annual Summer Gala, this time under the bright skies at Bowness Park. The day was filled with laughter, joy, and meaningful connections, as families, educators, and children came together to celebrate the NE department and the wonderful community we’ve built at iG.

Thoughtful Preparations

This year, we wanted to make the event extra special, starting with thoughtful details for both teachers and children. Each teacher received a custom lanyard with their name, making it easy for families to recognize and connect with them. Every teacher and child received bright red or yellow t-shirts, printed with the iG logo and IG name—perfect for creating a sense of belonging and team spirit. Rows of refreshing beverages, hot pizza, and a variety of gifts were ready to delight everyone. These preparations reflected our care and commitment to creating a welcoming and joyful experience for all attendees.

Fun and Games in the Park

Once the festivities began, the park came alive with energy. Children ran freely, playing and laughing together, while enjoying a variety of games and dancing activities organized by our team. The day also featured a creative face paint, where kids could decorate their faces or arms with their favorite designs. Parents joined in on interactive family exercises, making the day not just about fun, but also about strengthening parent-child bonds.

Food is always at the heart of celebration, and this year was no exception. Families enjoyed pizza, refreshing drinks, and a variety of treats, all shared in the spirit of togetherness. These moments around the picnic tables sparked conversations, laughter, and connection, reminding us that simple joys like sharing a meal can strengthen community ties.
